McEnany reacted to a "Fox & Friends" montage of Jen Psaki telling various reporters that she would "circle back" on their questions during her six weeks with the Biden administration.

Psaki has held daily press conferences after the Trump White House largely eschewed the practice over McEnany's term, but Trump was known for his openness with the press. "It not only creates jobs, but it makes us a helluva lot more competitive around the world if we have the best infrastructure", Biden said.

'I always knew where my boss stood. "That was his strategy all along", said McEnany, a new Fox News analyst. Unlike other press secretaries who maybe didn't have walk-in privileges, I could walk in at any time.

McEnany also criticised Biden's lack of solo public appearances as the US President has gone 44 days without holding his own press conference.

"It's exactly like the campaign".

"I think the president, what everybody saw yesterday, was a reflection of his frustration and exasperation, which I think many American people have, that for nearly a year now people across the country have sacrificed, at many times they haven't had information they need from the federal government", Psaki told reporters at a briefing, The Hill reported.

US President Joe Biden drew criticism from GOP lawmakers this week after he called it a "big mistake" and "Neanderthal thinking" for states like Texas and MS to lift COVID-19 restrictions like mask mandates and begin to operate at full capacity. Now he's set a 100-year record for not going to the podium'.
