One day after speeches by a series of senators thought to be eyeing 2024 presidential runs, and the day before Trump's address, two more potential candidates were warmly received by the conservative crowd: former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota.

Marcia English shows her support for former President Donald Trump outside of the Hyatt Regency, where the Conservative Political Action Conference is being held on February 28, 2021 in Orlando, Florida.

He said, "I will keep fighting on your behalf".

China believes it could work with the United States on things like climate change and the Coronavirus crisis if US President Joe Biden scraps trade tariffs set by his predecessor Donald Trump.

Pompeo assailed President Joe Biden and recalled what he said were the foreign policy successes of the Trump administration.

Prominent congressional conservatives, including senators Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley, were among the Trump loyalists speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando. On Saturday, McCarthy hailed Banks as "an unbelievable individual" shortly before he assailed the anti-Trump Republicans in their ranks. "So they come in and they can help us, as opposed to coming here, and not be good for us, including criminals, of which there are many".

Even though he talked about bringing the Republican party back to unity, he also called out the 10 Republicans who voted to impeach him in the House of Representatives, and the seven Republicans who voted unsuccessfully to convict him in the Senate.

The mayhem left five dead, including a U.S. Capitol Police officer.

"This is a party that has a lot of ideas, a party with a lot of factions", Pompeo told Newsmax TV's John Bachman and Mark Halperin in an interview after his speech at the American Conservative Union's gathering. "It means support for the forgotten men and women who have been taken advantage of for so many years", Trump said.

Pompeo also told Newsmax TV that Russian Federation was a "hot topic" during the Trump administration for a number of years, and said Democrats are getting the story "backward" on the relationship between the two countries.

Trump declared the Republican Party united behind him, with opposition coming only from "a handful of Washington, D.C., political hacks".

Trump is not expected to announce Sunday that he will run again in 2024, but allies made clear he would continue to float the prospect.

Before Trump got around to naming names, he started his speech by first making some news and attempting to squash rumors that he wants to start his own political party. A final rule that would implement the measure may be issued at some future date that's not yet been determined, a Commerce spokesperson said.

At least 140,000 voters disconnected from the legend in the weeks following the episode, a number which may be higher as 19 of the 50 U.S. states do not identify party membership of registered voters. "The Democrats are on the wrong side".

"They just lost the White House", Trump said. "CPAC is not the entirety of the Republican Party".

"We were tough where it was appropriate to be tough on Russian Federation and other places we tried to find places we could work together", said Pompeo.

"I don't think he'll be our nominee", Cassidy said.

The former president has vowed he will campaign for the candidates in 2022, but is using the upcoming election to take revenge on disgruntled people like Cheney by backing nominations to challenge the re-election of those who voted for his dismissal.
