Should Gov. Andrew Cuomo ever step down or be impeached, Hochul would become the 57th governor of NY.

Ruch told the newspaper that when she removed Cuomo's hand from her back, he called her "aggressive", placed his hands on her cheeks and asked if he could kiss her. Cuomo then planted a kiss on her cheek as she turned away.

"Well, here's what I would tell my Democratic colleagues to do: follow the Republican model", Graham told Sean Hannity on Fox News.

According to The Times, Ms. Ruch's account "was corroborated by the friend, contemporaneous text messages and photographs from the event".

Cuomo briefly addressed allegations made by two former aides in a statement Sunday night, saying his actions had been "misinterpreted".

Ruch's testimony came just days after former aide Charlotte Bennett told the New York Times that he sexually harassed her a year ago.

The Democrat Governor, who shot to global fame during his daily briefings at the height of the coronavirus spread in his state in early 2020, faces calls for him to resign following earlier allegations made by two former aides about sexual harassment in the workplace.

Two former female aides to Mr. Cuomo have also accused him of sexual harassment. In the 2010 race for state attorney general, Rice was widely believed to be Cuomo's preferred pick for the role, but he ended up endorsing her opponent, Eric Schneiderman, right before the primary.

Cuomo has denied the sexual harassment allegations from Boylan and Bennett.

He bowed to pressure for an independent probe into the misconduct claims, which will be led by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

"I think every woman in America-so many of us have been triggered by the photo in a way that was deeply uncomfortable", said Ms. González-Rojas, who was first elected a year ago. It further states Cuomo's withholding of information in regards to nursing home deaths is "sufficient to justify impeachment proceedings".

Cuomo, a fellow Democrat, has not been seen in public since new details of the sexual harassment complaints became public last week. He denied Boylan's allegations in his statement and said that in Bennett's case, he had meant to act like a mentor.

Several elected officials previously called for the revocation of the governor's emergency powers due to the state's handling of COVID-19 in nursing homes.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who has had a contentious relationship with Cuomo for years, said Tuesday that if all the allegations against Cuomo are true, "he can not govern".

One former administration employee, Lindsey Boylan, said Cuomo kissed her on the lips, commented on her appearance and summoned her to an unnecessary private meeting in his office after a holiday party.

The deal comes one day after a third allegation involving Cuomo was made public.

"I have teased people about their personal lives, their relationships, about getting married or not getting married. It makes me feel sick".

"I know the attorney general will conduct a thorough investigation that will be totally, totally independent without any interference, outside interference, political or otherwise", Schumer said. "To the extent anyone felt that way, I am truly sorry about that", he said.

"A person who treats women this way is not fit to govern", Liu said.
