Fischer's family released the following statement to ABC Friday night: "As you know, our beloved Ryan was the victim of a frightful, violent crime on Wednesday evening in Los Angeles".

Koji and Gustav were stolen in Hollywood while her third dog, Miss Asia, escaped and was recovered.

The detectives on the case and a representative for Gaga went to the station and confirmed that they were her dogs.

The alleged gunmen shot him four times in the chest before making off with two of the three dogs. "You're forever a hero".

Singer Lady Gaga released a statement on Friday offering a $500,000 reward for the return of her two missing dogs Koji and Gustav. Of course, we also want to thank Lady Gaga, who has shown nothing but non-stop love and concern for Ryan and our family right from the outset. It was not clear is Lady Gaga's pets were deliberately targeted.

A home surveillance camera-which LAPD detectives are now analyzing-recorded the attack, revealing that a light-colored sedan stopped next to Fischer and two people exited the vehicle and then accosted him.

A struggle ensues, and one gunshot can be heard, prompting Fischer to fall to the ground, screaming. Miss Asia is being cared for by friends but is still shaken, sources say.

Police described the two suspects as men about 20 to 25 years old, one with blond dreadlocks and wearing a black hoodie and carrying a semi- automatic handgun. "Ryan loves Gustavo and Koji as much as Lady Gaga does; so we join in her plea for their safe return".

He's trying to keep his daughter calm, Joe told the New York Post newspaper. "It's just really terrible - it's like someone took one of your kids".
