Several people killed in Louisiana shooting

Share and speak up for justice, law & order. The man reportedly got into an argument with a clerk at the store for entering the premises with a loaded gun that was unholstered. The Associated Press reports that the first shooter, a customer at the gun store and range, fired the initial shots inside where he hit two people who were later pronounced dead.

Three persons died on the scene, including the shooter.

A reporter for the New Orleans Advocate reported seeing two separate "shields" set up in the parking lot, which are 'typically used to block bodies from view'. There is an update below.

A deadly shooting occurred at a gun shop in the New Orleans metro area, "multiple" people are dead and some innocent bystanders wounded as a result of the incident, local news channel WDSU reported Saturday.

"A customer who was inside the building at the time of the shooting, and two people who arrived later and identified themselves as relatives of the victims, said the shooting started when two adult brothers arrived at the business. The two transported victims are in stable condition", the Saturday statement says.

Armed bystanders helped subdue the gunman at the scene just west of New Orleans, Fox News reported.

While the events of the shooting remain under investigation, police said it appears that a suspect shot and killed two people inside the shooting range before being confronted and shot by multiple others outside.

Police said that the suspect was one of the people found dead on the scene.
