The Internet is Falling in Love with Resident Evil Village's Lady Dimitrescu

Capcom's internal mainline Resident Evil team is said to be pursuing an altogether different direction, however, inspired by the original RE4, but with unique versions of features, story elements, and environments, much like Mr. X/Tyrant's increased role in the 2019 Resident Evil 2 remake.

For those wild enough to add it to their carts, the Complete Set Collector's Edition, along with all other various editions, will be released alongside Resident Evil Village on May 7. Those who can't quite afford $1855 can instead pluck for the Complete Set Edition at a marginally cheaper $1634.

After two remakes of classic games, Capcom is ready to push forward with the Resident Evil franchise. If you just want the coat, it is available for separate purchase at a rather staggering $1539. As revealed during the Resident Evil Showcase, there's the Collector's Edition that includes a copy of the game, the Trauma Pack DLC, Chris Redfield figurine, art book, reversible poster, and Steelbook case. Of course, you could just grab the standard edition either. The multiplayer experience is called "Resident Evil Re: Verse" according to a list that appears to have surfaced prematurely, and it looks like it will take place in Resident Evil Village.

Resident Evil: Re: Verse was first spotted on the Humble Store (via Wario64) where Resident Evil Village pre-orders have been uploaded for the event. It can support between four and six players, depending on the beta page for a Resident Evil beta opportunity which is likely Re: Verse, and it will be playable on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as we know it.

For now, it's just a demonstration of Ethan moving around the Baker's mansion, but Enveloping Sounds has promised a second part coming soon that hopefully includes a bit of action.
