Earlier this week, following the Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas' split, someone was seen outside of Ben's home tossing a cutout of the actress into the trash.

Asked if he thinks they could reconcile, Casey insisted he had "no idea" but admitted he would be "sorry if it doesn't work out". In fact, Casey has nothing but nice things to say about his brother's ex-girlfriend.

Following reports that the Knives Out star and Affleck's brother Ben had ended their relationship, photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed a man disposing of the life-size cardboard cutout of de Armas that had previously been spotted on the Justice League star's lawn. "I would leave that to them to speak to", he said in a new interview with ET Online.

The Oscar victor also mentioned that he will be there for his "Batman v. Superman" older brother but believes that Ben will not have any difficulties finding love. "A bunch of people sent that picture to me, and I was going to tweet some joke, response or something". "And I don't have Twitter so that wasn't going to work".

Similarly, Casey thinks Ben is just as incredible and he will also have no problem finding someone else to move on with from this failed relationship.

Affleck and de Armas had a whirlwind romance after meeting on the set of their thriller movie "Deep Water" in 2019.

The "Gone Baby Gone" star also thinks Ana is a fantastic actress and even predicted she will "win an Oscar next year". The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in them quarantining together, but they also went on more trips, like vacationing with Jennifer Garner and the Affleck children. "I wouldn't know because I've been single, but I bet there are a lot of people that have, you know, it's been challenging to relationships", he continued. But she's just incredibly sweet, such a sweet person and so talented.

He then bet that she would be grabbing every single award this year.

There was also the issue that - as Page Six reported - de Armas, 32, wants to have children of her own, while, friends said, there is no way Affleck, 48, wants more kids.

Although he called the actress "a catch in every way", Casey's not too anxious about his brother, either.

Casey, who is divorced, added: "And I'll be there to carry Ben through it, but I don't think he'll have any problems".
