Inauguration Day a palindrome that will not reproduce for 1000 years

We're in the middle of ten consecutive palindrome dates.

The palindromes will continue until January 29, when the date will read 1/29/21. This won't happen again until January 22, 2122.

December will also have multiple palindrome dates with nine consecutive days starting on 12121.

For Americans, Wednesday began a series of dates that form palindromes using the month, day, and year format - 1/20/21 - that can be read forwards and backwards, reports CNN. So now is the time for number lovers and followers of politics to unite, as the next one won't happen until 1-20-3021.

Ten Straight Palindrome Dates

"The only two years in a century that contain 22 palindrome dates are the ones ending with 11 and 21", says Dr. Aziz Inan, a professor at the University of Portland. But its date on the calendar is also special.

Oh, and here's a fun fact. There are 10 palindrome dates occurring today through the 29th. After the next palindrome date will occur on the 11th and the 22nd.

No, this information is not going to significantly, or even slightly affect our lives, but it is pretty cool to think about the fact that what's happening this year on our calendar won't happen for another 1,0000 years. Sure, we will have some palindrome dates between now and 2111, but it won't be 22 of them.
