Everspace 2 is out on Early Access Today, gets New Trailer

The waiting is finally over! Given the scale and graphical fidelity of the PC version, it's nearly certain that Everspace 2 will only arrive on current-gen consoles - Xbox Series X, Series S, and PlayStation 5 - and not Xbox One or PS4.

Everspace 2 launches with two star systems to explore and around 25 hours of content, which includes the single-player campaign's opening 12 hours and a selection of side missions. Rockfish had already revealed that the PC version of the game would arrive in the first half of 2022, but it is unclear if all three ports will be released simultaneously. Death has real consequences. In gameplay terms, what this means is that most of the rogue-like elements from the first game have been cut, and EVERSPACE 2 will feature a more focused and lengthy campaign.

Sci-fi shooter looter Everspace 2 is now available in Steam Early Access and GOG Games in Development.

According to ROCKFISH, Everspace 2 is estimated to stay in early access from 12 to 18 months and then release for PS4 and Xbox One as well.

As the game passes through the Early Access process, the ROCKFISH Games team has a significant list of planned improvements that players can expect over the next year. If you want to play the game today and keep up with its development you will have to purchase Everspace 2.

The final version of the game will feature more star systems, locations, enemies, activities, ship subclasses and tiers, customization options.

Everspace 2 is now available in the early access phase on Steam, and according to the developers, it's at least one year away from a full launch. Who will be joining him in that universe?
