Samsung Galaxy S21 Launch Date Confirmed By Official India Retail Store

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra shows us its camera module supposed to feature a 10MP 10X super-telephoto zoom, a 108MP main, a 12MP ultrawide and a 10MP 3X telephoto camera.

A report from AA and citing Samsung's largest mobile experience store in India, the Galaxy S21 will launch on January 14, while the actual sales of the device would go live on January 29.

By the looks of things, the local Samsung store has already started receiving pre-orders for the device, though they're more like reservations for the upcoming model, as customers just need to pay $27 for the smartphone.

The Geekbench 5 benchmark test reveals that the device is powered by "lahaina" chipset, which is believed to the codename of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, however in India the handset is likely to be powered by Samsung's own Exynos 2100 chipset. The upcoming Galaxy S21 series is said to feature the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset in the US and South Korea, while other markets will receive Exynos 2100 processors. Users would also be able to choose between four different color options, which include gray, white, pink, and purple. There will be a matte black finish on the final model. On the back, there appears to be a camera bump on the left side housing three sensors. Now, what's more interesting about this leak is that it also confirms that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will also support S Pen input.
