Rebel Wilson revealed she was once kidnapped at gunpoint while on vacation in Africa.

In the new chat with Ant Middleton for his show Straight Talking, Rebel refused to name names and wouldn't discuss the project she was making at the time - but it's clear she didn't find the dirty castmate's challenge remotely amusing.

Rebel revealed that she was with other women on a cattle truck when men with "big guns" told them to get off and took them to an undisclosed place. "[They pulled up beside us] with the big guns and they were like, "Yeah, you gotta get out of your truck".

"[The kidnappers] sat us down, and I said, 'Everybody link arms, ' because I was petrified in the night that they might want to take one of the girls or something", she explained.

Although the Australian actress didn't give details on who she was with, she did say that she was the "team leader".

Wilson said they were set free the following day.

"They came and said, 'Oh, your truck is ready now you can go - go, go, ' you know".

"We didn't ask any questions", she said.

Rebel and her party crossed the border into South Africa a "few hours" after their disgusting experience was over.

Aussie icon Rebel Wilson opened up in an interview with SAS Australia's instructor, Ant Middleton.

The actress shared, "I think maybe those guys, maybe, used us to smuggle illegal things in the bottom of the truck".

Wilson and Middleton, a Royal Marines commando, shot the episode during a three-day period in Mexico.

With Rebel shedding over three stone during a "year of health" in 2020, she might be looking to add an action movie to her acting CV some time soon.

"Weirdly this year was always going to be the year of health".

"I called my agent immediately and said this happened".

"This is what I look like 3 days into the Mexican wilderness with @antmiddleton catch STRAIGHT TALKING on @skytv Thursday 14th at 9pm United Kingdom time", she captioned the post.
