New Pokemon Snap dated for April 30th 2021

Nintendo has confirmed the first game to release in Pokemon's 25th anniversary year and it's New Pokemon Snap.

According to Nintendo, the Lental region is full of vast deserts and dense jungles, the flawless places for Pokémon to be hiding. This Illumina Phenomenon plays a major role in the game as you uncover the mysteries behind it.

You can view the release date reveal trailer and a gallery of screenshots below. You will also be traveling in ann auto-driving vehicle known as the NEO-ONE to allow you to focus on getting the best shots. Capturing these and more will help fill out your Photodex.

Pre-orders will open on January 15, 2021, with Japanese pre-order rewards including a special Lapras name tag that players can use with the Pokemon Mezastar arcade machines. "These odd occurrences are found only in the Lental region and are known as the Illumina phenomenon", The Pokémon Company teased in a press release. The latest trailer showcases environments that players will explore to photograph Pokemon seen throughout the series.
