Prime Video has collaborated with Airtel to roll out this plan across India and Airtel prepaid customers can enjoy a 30-day free trial of the Prime Video Mobile Edition plan.

What's interesting about the Prime Video mobile plans is that apart from offering a range of online content to users, it also provides them with 4G data to further enhance the user experience. The Rs 349 plan also offers unlimited calling and 2GB data per day benefits for 28 days. There is also a Rs 299 prepaid recharge plan, which offers unlimited voice calling benefits, 1.5GB data per day and access to Amazon Prime Video. Those looking for a plan with multi-user access and HD/UHD content along with other Prime benefits can choose from Rs 131 and Rs 349 prepaid plans. At a recharge of ₹131, they can get Amazon Prime membership for 30 days with full Prime Video access, free fast shipping and unlimited ad-free music.

Airtel post-paid customers with an Infinity plan of ₹499 or above were already eligible for a one-year Amazon Prime membership.

The mobile-plan makes better sense for Amazon, Shah said, that is targeting a wider consumer base and wants to penetrate deeper into the heartland. These plans will be available on the Airtel Thanks app.
