We don't have a new Forza Horizon just yet, but when that eventually arrives, I can see the new Xbox Series S/X controller fitting in perfectly.

Microsoft wouldn't confirm a full list when prompted, but they did tell Kotaku Australia over email that the new colour would be "available channel wide across major retailers".

Known for going above and beyond in the naming department, this new controller is not just red - it's Pulse Red. "With a vivid, fiery-red topcase and crisp, white backcase, the new Pulse Red controller brings the same energy and equally striking color as the Shock Blue".

With matte black triggers, bumpers, and hybrid D-pad reduce slip against sweaty fingers and thumbs for greater control, while a textured dot pattern on the triggers and bumpers to keep your grip locked in. It also means you can load up Xbox Game Pass on any of those platforms and have the preferred controller available to use. It's compatible with your Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, or mobile device. The one exception to that is China, where the new controller launched today.

Microsoft announced the new Pulse Red Xbox Wireless Controller on Xbox Wire and the new controller will be available "in most Xbox markets" on February 9, 2021 for $64.99.
