Wicket-keeper Paine at one stage called Ashwin a "dickhead" as the spinner and Hanuma Vihari batted through the last three hours of the match to save a draw at Sydney Cricket Ground. If team India manages to pull off a win or a draw in the final Test, it will be none short of an achievement. PS: "I know that I know nothing abt cricket", Bablu Supriyo tweeted.

Soon as Vihari replied to the tweet, fans lauded him for his response and tore apart Supriyo for his observation.

"To which the Indian batsman replied to simply correct the spelling of his name: "*Hanuma Vihari".

Fans enjoyed Vihari's response as a lot of them said it was the greatest reply of the new year.

The Indian cricket team salvaged a draw from the most clutch situations against Australia in the Sydney Test on Monday. With an injury-ravaged squad, the Indian team batted for 131 overs to save the Sydney Test.

Babul Supriyo, the politician who had alleged that Hanuma Vihari had "murdered Cricket" when he had been saving the 3rd Test for India with a torn hamstring, got a tiny correction made by the man himself on Wednesday.

The third Test saw Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant put on a 148-run stand giving visitors a chance of pulling off an improbable chase. To his plight, Vihari was even unable to walk properly when he was stitching the heroic partnership with Ashwin. But the duo, despite being hit several times on their body by the world-class Australian bowling attack, continued to bat for the sake of their country and team. The final Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy now takes place from January 15 at Brisbane.

With the series tied 1-1 and all to play for in Brisbane, India may have to dig deep to pick their best XI for the Test even as the likes of Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur and T Natarajan are in line for their first Test in the series.
