Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Updated for Next-Gen Consoles

Electronic Arts, alongside developer Respawn Entertainment, has announced that its critically acclaimed RPGStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has received a new update that optimizes the adventure title for use on next-gen platforms PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

On Xbox Series X and PS5 (but not Xbox Series S), you'll find improved post-processing resolution, while on Xbox Series X, Series S, and PS5 the frame rate tops out at 60fps.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Origin.

On both consoles, the game can run upward of 60 FPS, which is up from the previous 45 FPS. On Xbox Series X, "Performance Mode" now hits 60 FPS, and the dynamic resolution can scale between 1080p and 1440p. On "Normal mode", post-processing has been increased to 4K resolution, and the dynamic resolution can range between 1512p and 2160p.

Framerate has been increased to 60 frames per second. Postprocessing has also been increased to 1440p and the dynamic resolution has been disabled and the game is now rendering at 1200p, instead of the 810-1080p it was originally running at on PS4.
