Norris' manager says the Walker, Texas Ranger star was not present at last week's deadly riot at the US Capitol.

The image showed a man with an appearance like the legendary actor posing with a Trump supporter, identified as Matthew Bledsoe, in what appears to be the moments before the invasion of the Capitol building. The picture was accompanied with an annotation that read, "Chuck Norris". As the picture gained more and more traction, social media users believed the claim and slammed Norris left, right and centre.

"The violent attack on the U.S. Capitol was unlike any I have ever experienced in my 30 years in law enforcement here in Washington, D.C.", Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, who submitted his letter of resignation the day after the attack, said in a previous statement, adding, "Make no mistake - these mass riots were not First Amendment activities; they were criminal riotous behavior".

One user did point out that Norris and the man in the snap don't appear to have the same color eyes.

The photos instantly went viral on Twitter, prompting speculation that Norris was among the hundreds of Trump supporters at the insurrection.

Donald Trump's supporters rioted at the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021 while the electoral votes certified Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' victory in the 2020 presidential election - a victory that Trump has contested many times over.

And in 2012, he accused then-President Barack Obama of seeking to create a "pro-gay" Boy Scouts.

A rep for Chuck Norris told Fox News that the martial artist/actor was not at the Capitol riot last week.

One man shared a photo with the lookalike identifying him as Norris, and several Twitter users who saw the photo and video of the apparent body double began to trash the the actor.

Another user put the photo through a facial-recognition software and the results came back with a 85% match, which according to the user, means that although the man looks like Norris, he isn't actually him.
