Obama Gives Rapper the OK to Play Him in Biopic

In a recent interview for 360 With Speedy Morman, Obama spoke about a potential biopic about his life.

The Grammy victor, who started his career acting in the 2001 teen drama "Degrassi: The Next Generation" and went on to star in "Charlie Bartlett", a 2007 comedy-drama, first expressed interest in playing Obama in 2010.

According to the interview the rapper expressed his interest in playing the first Black President of the United States 10 years ago. "I mean, he's a talented brother. So, if the time comes and he's ready..."
