Colorado governor tests positive for coronavirus

"Marlon and I are feeling well so far, and are in good spirits", Polis said in the statement.

Colorado Governor Jared Polis and his partner Marlon Reis tested positive for COVID-19 according to an announcement sent out by the governor.

The state has been hit with a substantial spike in COVID-19 cases.

"No person or family is immune to this virus", he added in a Facebook post.

Police have joined forces with several top American politicians who have tested positive for the COVID-19, including President Donald Trump and several governors.
