The total number of deaths related to the coronavius in Scioto County is now 23, including the three reported deaths in the latest update.

With two more deaths, both reported Thursday, the Lehigh Valley's COVID-19 death toll has risen to 713 people.

"With more frequent cases and clusters, as well as increasing hospitalizations, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has issued strong orders and guidelines in an effort to address the surge in cases", reads a news release. Eleven counties have been put on the Level 4 watch list, including Adams, Clermont, Hamilton, Medina, Portage, Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Warren and Wood counties.

For 17 days in a row, Minnesota hospitals have admitted over 200 new patients with COVID-19.

The total number of cases in the state is just over 295,000, however, almost 245,000 of them are no longer in isolation.

The province's death count is now up to 384.

Health officials also discovered an IT error caused Fraser Health's daily case numbers to be misreported for nine days this month.

"It's something that happens, but obviously we don't want it to", she said.

Pennsylvania has reported thousands of new cases a day for weeks now.

Earlier in the day, Northern Health reported that COVID-19 exposures had occurred at Charlie Lake Elementary and the ELC.

The state's 20 largest school districts have closed or plan to close soon in favor of distance learning because of uncontrolled spread of the coronavirus in their communities or because of too many absent teachers and other staff. Globally, more than 6 crore infections and over 14.2 lakh deaths have been reported due to the COVID-19 outbreak, according to the Reuters tally.

Every county in the state except for Cook had at least 50 new coronavirus cases per 10,000 residents in samples collected November 1-14.

There were 1,910 new cases reported in Cuyahoga County today and yesterday combined, for an average of 955 daily cases each day.
