Ex-Tottenham boss Sherwood: Mourinho has brainwashed his players!

Another impressive clean sheet was recorded in a 2-0 victory over Manchester City on Saturday, with talk of Mourinho being on track to win his fourth Premier League title increasing with each passing game.

While Spurs are now rightly getting the plaudits after an excellent run of form, one man has taken a slightly different angle as to how Jose has gotten the best out of his players, suggesting that it's down to brainwashing rather than good performances - yes, Tactics Tim is back!

The Belgium worldwide has started Tottenham's last five Premier League games but now looks set to sit out against London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal, as well as the final three Europa League group games.

Son has nine goals in as many Premier League games this season for Tottenham and is highly rated by Spurs boss Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager has stated that the defender is best utilised as a wide player, but it seems as though many Spurs fans think he is better off being a centre-back. "He has bought very well, Reguilón has been a good signing, but Hojbjerg for me has been the best signing, fits in the style and protects the two centre-halves".

"Jose has brainwashed his players into believing that they have to work for something, that they need to win trophies, and why shouldn't you believe in him?"

"When you play as solid as they do, he's nearly brainwashed them into believing".

"They were looking really strong and I just noticed the way he walked off, he looked in pain walking and that's not a great sign, that's when you know it's quite bad so I do really feel for him".
