Thanksgiving 2020 Store Hours: What's Open In Lisle?

As people across the United States prepare for their first Thanksgiving amid a pandemic, you may find yourself changing your plans to travel or gather with family and friends in favor of staying at home and doing your part to curb the spread of coronavirus.

On Thanksgiving Day, many offices are closed anyway, including post offices and libraries.

This year is even different for grocery stores.

Dick's Sporting Goods: Open at 5 a.m. on Black Friday - Dick's Sporting Goods has confirmed that their stores will be opening at their regular Black Friday hours this year. They will also be opening early on Black Friday, but all of their sales will be available online.

The pandemic is presenting a challenge for handing out holiday meals, but charities are adapting to the challenge with to-go and drive-thru meals.

Retail stores - Some are open.

Libraries: Closed on Thanksgiving.

Federal government - The Ronald Reagan Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Harrisburg will be closed.

Burlington: Closed on Thanksgiving, open at 7 a.m.

Schools: Schools and universities are closed on Thanksgiving.

Trash service and city hall operations: Many communities are operating on delayed schedules due to Thanksgiving.
