Motorola will launch the Moto G 5G in India on November 30, the Lenovo owned company announced on Thursday. The device will be available from 12pm IST and will be available from Flipkart, a popular Indian e-retailing website that operates similar to Amazon.

The Moto G 5G is not the only 5G phone set to launch in India in the coming days.

Now, the Moto G 5G will arrive in similar price tag and will compete with the Chinese brand with its own mid range 5G enabled smartphone. Despite this, a few 5G enabled devices have already been launched in the country, but the OnePlus Nord is one of the few in the mid range segment so far. The phone officially broke cover recently at a price of Euro 299.99 (which roughly translates to Rs. 26,500). Vivo is also prepping the Vivo V20 Pro 5G though it is not particularly highlighting the phone's pricing - affordable or otherwise - and instead, touting its sleek form factor.

As per an earlier report in XDA Developers, the Moto G 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G S0C and runs on Android 10.

"The Moto G9 Power, on the other hand, has a Snapdragon 662 at the helm and is built around a 6.8" HD+ screen with a punch hole in the upper-left corner for the 16MP selfie shooter.

Motorola Moto G 5G was launched in Europe in a sole 4GB + 64GB storage configuration at Euro 299.99 (roughly Rs. 26,300).

At the end of the day, it might be harder to decide which of these two handsets to buy than whether or not to take advantage of this sweet Black Friday deal, as the Moto G Power has a gargantuan 5,000mAh battery going for it, while the G Stylus comes with a, well, built-in stylus in addition to some extra storage space and better cameras.

The Moto G 5G will not be Motorola's first 5G phone in India though.

The device features a triple rear camera setup, which comprises of a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, and an 8-megapixel secondary wide-angle sensor with 118-degree field of view. It has a 16-megapixel camera at the front.

The Motorola Moto G9 Power packs a 6,000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging.
