Actor Bhumi Pednekar stars as a feisty IAS officer who is possessed by a spirit in the trailer of Durgamati The Myth that dropped on Wednesday. But as soon as Chauhan enters the haveli, she encounters unusual happenings and eventually starts behaving like the late Durgamati, after whom the haveli was named. She sports a dramatic and intense persona and declares she will not leave until she's made everyone pay for their deeds. Interestingly, the trailer of Durgamati doesn't begin with a direct introduction to Bhumi's character - former IAS officer Chanchal Chauhan - instead, sets up the storyline. Kumar had written, "Are you ready to meet "Durgamati" on Prime on December 11". Bhumi, dressed in a red saree, can be seen sitting on a throne as she intensely stares at the camera. The spooky poster will give you vast excitement. She captioned it, "What's behind that door?" Get ready to meet "Durgamati" on Prime on December 11. They bring up Chanchal Chauhan from the jail to dig up dust on Ishwar Prasad and then investigate her in Durgamati Haveli, where she even starts staying and experience paranormal activities. Starring Bhumi Pednekar in the leading role, the spooky film is a conspiracy thriller and is the official Hindi remake of hit Telugu film Bhaagamathie. I might not have to spell it out but this montage is absolutely painful to watch and has nothing to do with the kind of horror the film is promising. Apart from this, she will also be seen in Karan Johar's 'Takht' which also stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi and Anil Kapoor in key roles.

Durgavati is the thing that I am most pressured and excited about.

The film has been presented by Cape of Good Films and Bhushan Kumar and is produced by Vikram Malhotra and is directed by G Ashok.
