When the inevitable epic Barack Obama biopic project gets underway, Hollywood's finest will be lining up to play the role of the first Black President of the United States.

On several occasions, the 34-year-old singer, songwriter, actor, and entrepreneur has praised Obama; however, in 2017, he posted a photomontage of the president and him calling him an inspiration. That's a talented, talented brother.

In a post to mark the end of Obama's presidency, Drake shared this slightly weird image while paying tribute to the president's run.

Drake already has numerous acting credits to his name, having previously appeared in Degrassi: The Next Generation, Ice Age: Continental Drift and Breakaway.

Back in 2010, in an interview with Paper magazine, Drake said he believed he was the right man to portray Obama in a potential biopic about his life and presidency. At the time, Drake said he watched all of his national addresses and studied the leader's speaking inflection. Any time I seen him on TV, I don't change the channel. "If the time comes and he's ready, you know...", said Obama after being suggested the rapper should play him.

And it looks like Obama won't be the only one elated with the casting as he went on to reveal: "He has more importantly my household's stamp of approval". If you ask someone who knows me, I'm pretty good at impressions.
