The team placed Adam Thielen, whose 11 touchdown receptions now leads the National Football League, on their reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.

The team made the announcement Monday afternoon without clarifying whether Thielen tested positive.

Thielen, who leads the National Football League with 11 receiving touchdowns, caught eight passes for 123 yards and two scores Sunday in the Vikings' 31-28 loss to Dallas.

It is unclear whether the receiver tested positive for the coronavirus or was in close contact with someone who did. He's the sixth Vikings player to be placed on the COVID-19 list this month.

The move comes a day after Thielen had a pair of touchdown receptions in the Vikings' loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Thielen's availability for Sunday's matchup with the Carolina Panthers is now reliant on future tests, meaning the Vikings and quarterback Kirk Cousins could be without one of their star receivers.
