Some YouTube users come across an interesting ad between videos.

Google is getting ready to launch a new avatar of its "Phone by Google" which is touted as a reliable called ID app like Truecaller. "To create this original experience, Google, Disney and Lucasfilm worked together to imagine a next-generation augmented reality app optimized for 5G devices", the companies said in a press release. This app is not yet available on Google Play which means we can expect Google to roll out this app very soon. Not a huge discount, but it does match the same price that the Google Store is offering for the Pixel 5. Since this feature is already available in the default Phone app by Google, it seems that Google Call would be a rebranded version of the app. It appears that the company will now give the Phone app a new logo and even a new name called the "Google Call". However, now Google is expanding its Phone app support for more Android smartphones.

Google in the past couple of weeks has been rebranding its apps including Gmail, Google Pay and Google Workspace to present a more unified colour scheme.

The Nest Audio speaker from Google is new enough that we weren't expecting insane promos for it during this first Black Friday shopping week. And so, the change is perfectly aligned with Google's recent move.

Users who saw the Google Call advertisement wanted to see what they would encounter by clicking the "Install" button. With the statements to be made by Google, all the innovations that will come to the Google Phone application will be learned.
