Though her bandmates haven't directly addressed Jesy's temporary departure, with a statement asking for privacy, Jade reassured fans they are going nowhere in a separate interview this week.

In a statement, a representative for the band said the reason for her "extended time off" was due to "private medical reasons".

"They have started discussions with some potential managers and agents about what their individual careers might look like".

Since Tuesday's announcement, fans have sent Jesy an outpouring of love and get well soon messages.

The trio, minus their bandmate Jesy Nelson, 29 - who is taking a break from the band for "medical reasons" - made their comments during an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show, which airs tomorrow night.

This week, 29-year-old Nelson announced her decision to take a break after she missed the final of their BBC One talent show, The Search, and the group's hosting of the MTV European Music Awards.

Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade were on the show to talk about their new album Confetti, which was completed before lockdown.

"The girls have been open and friendly with each other and with the current management team".

"Some of the girls could also end up taking on solo projects with their current management team. But this isn't about ending the group, it's about looking to the future".

"That will happen with or without Jesy, who is taking time, who feels he needs or wants it", shared the source.

We are never with each other and we're always busy.

She said that despite it all, the "beauty of being in a band" is that each supports the other. "It is an exciting time ".

Little Mix celebrate ten years since their rise to fame on The X Factor this weekend. The group have sold more than 50 million albums in addition to four No.1s.
