The Phoenix Suns reached a three-year, $27 million deal with restricted free agent forward Dario Saric, the player's agents told ESPN on Monday.

He was instrumental in the club's ideal 8-0 run in the bubble, hitting 52.4% of his 2.6 3-point attempts per contest and upping his averages to 14.6 points, 7.9 boards, and 1.6 assists.

Saric landed with the Suns last summer via a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves that sent rookie Jarret Culver to Minnesota.

But Saric emerged as a major contributor the rest of the way.

Entering his third National Basketball Association season, Carter has appeared in 97 career games with Memphis and the Suns, and holds career per-36 minute averages of 10.9 points, 1.7 steals and 2.3 three-pointers on 38.7% shooting from deep.

His success continued in the Orlando bubble, where he took on a sixth-man role and thrived, posting 14.8 points and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 57.4% from the field, including 52.4% from 3-point range.

The 6-foot-10, 225-pound Croatia native was the No. 12 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by Philadelphia.
