Daily Show's Trevor Noah to host 2021 Grammy Awards

The "Don't Start Now" singer is up for an incredible six nominations including, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.That's an impressive feat for the young artist, age 25.

He added: 'I think as a one-time GRAMMY nominee, I am the best person to provide a shoulder to all the unbelievable artists who do not win on the night because I too know the pain of not winning the award!'

The announcement of Noah as host comes shortly before the nominees are revealed. (This is a metaphorical shoulder, I'm not trying to catch Corona). "The Daily Show" has been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards under Noah's tenure. See you at the 63rd GRAMMYs!' The 63rd annual ceremony will air January 31 on CBS and Citytv.

Other stars that are set to announce the names include Lauren Daigle, Mickey Guyton, Nigerian Afropop singer Yemi Alade, classical violinist Nicole Benedetti and regional Mexican singer-songwriter Pepe Aguilar, along with CBS This Morning's Gayle King and The Talk host Sharon Osbourne.

The nominations for the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards nominations ceremony will take place Tuesday, November 24th at 12 pm ET/ 9 am PT.

Megastars Dua Lipa, Imogen Heap are announcing this year's slate of nominations with Recording Academy's president Harvey Mason Jr.
