Apple devices to get Xbox series X Gamepad support

A report by Apple Insider has suggested that the support might arrive soon. The page in question outlines how to connect wireless game controllers to your Apple device, though the Xbox Series X controller isn't listed under the "See which wireless controllers are supported" heading. The new controllers are now not officially supported on either iOS or iPadOS but Apple has said that they are working together with Microsoft to bring "compatibility for the Xbox Series X controller to customers in a future update".

The development was shared by Apple on its support page and first spotted by a Reddit user (cvfunstuff).

The PlayStation 5's DualSense controller wasn't mentioned.

While the majority of mobile games can be played perfectly fine using the onscreen controls, there are some games that might benefit from using an external game controller. Microsoft had previously said that the new controller for the latest Xbox consoles includes tactile dot pattern on the triggers and bumpers to provide a better grip. To reduce latency, the company has also included a new technology called Dynamic Latency Input (DLI). were lucky enough to review both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S ahead of launch. Currently, the Xbox Series X price in India is set at Rs 49,990, while the Xbox Series S comes with a price tag of Rs 34,990.
