Sadly, that's exactly what we're seeing today out of Dallas, Texas, as a rather special Pagani Huayra Roadster was involved in what looks like a fairly heavy crash that deployed the car's airbags and ripped apart much of the car's bodywork.

Nicknamed "The Joker", the purple Pagani Huayra Roadster is constructed nearly entirely from carbon-fibre and is estimated to be worth a whopping US$3.4 million, or roughly AU$4.66 million. "Crash could've left us with worse injuries or even death", he posted on Instagram later, along with images of his pop's crumpled vehicle. It was one-of-one, so when a collection of photos of this auto after one hell of a collision turned up online, vehicle nuts all over the world joined a day of mourning. In addition, at least one of the front wheels has been torn from the auto, as has the driver's door, suggesting the Huayra Roadster had a various serious shunt. Even the driver's door has disappeared, confirming that this is going to be one hell of a payout.

He has previously filmed videos featuring his father's Pagani Huayra, but it's not clear whether the crash occurred while Gage was capturing content for his YouTube fans. Thankfully, they both got away without sustaining any major injuries.

As noted by The Drive, the Huayra Roadster was delivered to owner Tim Gillean back in June, joining a fleet of other exotics in the family's collection that includes a McLaren Senna, Lamborghini Urus, Bugatti Chiron and Rolls-Royce Dawn, among others.
