Sanjay Dutt starrer Torbaaz trailer drops online, check Netflix premiere date

Torbaaz is the story of one man who rises above his personal tragedy and decides to transform the lives of refugee camp kids who are on the path of destruction, through the game of cricket.

Producer Rahul Mitra, who also features in the movie in the role of an Afghan army general, said the team is elated about Torbaaz premiering on Netflix.

In August, the 61-year-old actor had announced that he would be taking a break from his professional commitments to focus on medical treatment, amid reports that he was battling lung cancer. Torbaaz is a journey of redemption and rising from personal tragedy and the trailer does give a glimpse of the bruised past of Sanjay's character wherein he had lost his wife and son in Afghanistan. While sharing the trailer, Sanjay Dutt described the film in these words: "It's when good people do nothing that the bad guys win!"

Sanjay Dutt fans are excited to watch "Torbaaz", as this will be the first film to hit online after his recovery from critical illness. "#Torbaaz, premiering 11 December, only on @NetflixIndia". Earlier, his much talked about movie Sadak 2, also starring Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur, had released on an OTT platform.
