Robbie Williams Shares Coronavirus-Themed Festive Song Can't Stop Christmas

Robbie Williams is attempting to cheer up the nation with a brand new Covid-inspired Christmas song - and the glumness of the previous year is nowhere to be seen.

With lyrics that mention Santa social distancing, he's clearly soaking up that slightly dystopian 2020 vibe.

Can't Stop Christmas finds the former Take That member singing playful, tongue-in-cheek lyrics about Zoom chats, hand sanitiser and social distancing over a cheerful melody and seasonal sleigh bells.

"Santa's on his sleigh, but now he's two meters away", sings Robbie Williams, as he asks for socks and hand sanitizer from an online buyer.

Continuing: 'So I wonder who's gonna decide, if we can do the Auld Lang Syne // I wish that I could do what I like // With this family of mine //We're going out of our minds'.

"You can't take away the season like you can't take away the wine", he adds - and we'd absolutely agree.

The amusing single features on Robbie Williams critically acclaimed album "The Christmas Present" and has star-studded appearances from the likes of Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, Jamie Cullum, and Tyson Fury.

Produced alongside long-time collaborators Guy Chambers and Richard Flack, "Can't Stop Christmas" is out now.
