Kirby Morrow who voiced Cyclops, Goku and Miroku dies at age 47

A cause of death was not immediately reported for the actor.

Morrow's brother Casey announced his passing in a Facebook post on Thursday, posting, 'Kirby was a blessed and talented individual who brought joy to so many but also thrived off all your love and friendship.

Kirby Morrow was born in the year 1973 in Alberta, Canada, where he eventually trained at the Mount Royal University. His other notable anime roles include Van Fanel in Escaflowne, Miroku in Inuyasha, Yuki Aiba in Infinite Ryvius, Michelangelo in various Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Cyclops in X-Men Evolution, and Cole in Lego Ninjago.

Among the characters he's embodied, the most well-known is his portrayal of Captain Dave Kleinman in "Stargate: Atlantis" from 2005 to 2006. He also reprised the Miroku role in the Funimation dub of Inuyasha's sequel series Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. The Canadian actor also held many on-screen roles, ranging from one-episode features to recurring roles on shows like "The Good Doctor", "Legion", "Supernatural" and "The L Word". He was an fantastic talent and we were honored to have worked with him on Inuyasha and Yashahime.
