Stafford, the wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Matt Stafford, ripped MI in a social media posting that went viral when she said she was "over living in a dictatorship". The order went into effect Wednesday and also canceled organized sports and group exercise classes.

A handful of netizens came to Stafford's defense, however, arguing that any discussion of her husband's salary was a deflection from her point about small businesses, with one company coming forward to endorse the message: "Pray I can make my ends meet this winter... not looking good". But yes, I want it to work for everyone, I know it's not going to work for everyone, and it's killing me to see people suffering a financial burden from losing their business and getting sick.

The wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford triggered a wave of condemnation after deeming MI a "dictatorship" over its latest coronavirus lockdown.

I'm going to be blunt: I'm so over it. I'm scared of it too. If you're in danger, do not leave your home until a vaccine comes.

"They will not make it. So once we are able to leave our house, once this dictatorship lets us have some freedom, there will be nothing left", she said. I'm just over it.

Stafford said that the whole thing "brings me to tears". How could you say that?' Listen, I know not everybody is going to agree with me. Not everybody's gonna agree with my every move I make. That's life, okay? We state our opinions, we move on.

"This is my opinion". "I have a friend losing her business".

Hospitals are 79% full across MI, and the state now has the fourth highest number of Covid-19 patients hospitalized in the country, Khaldun said. But this is my opinion. "I do not like living in a place where they tell me what I can and can't do". I live once. Again, this is my opinion. "You have yours, everyone has their own, and we chalk it up to that". Stafford first hit the COVID-19/reserve list in August, when it was believed he tested positive for the virus.

Matthew Stafford, a 12-year veteran, was placed on the reserve/covid-19 list twice this year.

Kelly Stafford again criticized the National Football League for making public the specific players who land on the COVID-19 list.

Kelly Stafford is fed up. I'm really sorry. I was in the heat of the moment. It's getting to me a little bit, so I apologize for calling this a dictatorship - probably not used so wisely.

The Staffords have had a tough time during the pandemic - Kelly recently revealed their youngest daughter was hospitalized for a concussion after falling out of her high chair.
