In a statement published by ET on Saturday, Nov. 21, the Chicago-based Def Jam artist's family said, "Jeremih has been transferred out of ICU". Knowing that he has been transferred to a regular hospital room is a great sign, and we are glad to hear he is doing better. The true healing begins.

"His family would like to remind the world that COVID-19 is real and not to be taken lightly", Jeremih's rep said in a statement last week.

It looks like Jeremih could be out of the woods after contracting the deadly COVID-19 virus. TMZ reports that Jeremih's family is thankful for everyone's thoughts and prayers. "He's still in ICU in critical condition".

Jeremih's top hit was his debut single titled "Birthday Sex" which reached number four on the Billboard 200 chart. They added that the 33-year-old musician's symptoms were "rare for a young man his age without underlying conditions". His third album, "Late Nights", was released in 2015. (To be completely honest, I'd never heard of him before this awful occurrence.) He's received an outpouring of support from the hip hop community.
