Five WhatsApp features we all are eagerly waiting for

The "Disappearing Messages" feature is available for individual as well as group chats.

Next up, there's a big change for iPhone users with WABetainfo also spotting a new feature called "Read Later".

WhatsApp is experimenting with a security feature that will allow users to verify their identity for WhatsApp Web using the fingerprint sensor on their smartphone. You will be able to enable or disable the option for a chat whenever required. Unlike the Archived Chat feature, Read Later will not notify you when a selected contact sends a message. To connect, open WhatsApp in the phone, after opening the app, click on the three dots that appear on the right.

Open the WhatsApp chat on your Android or iOS devices.

Once disabled, messages sent in the chat will no longer disappear. You have to scan the WhatsApp QR Code visible in WhatsApp web from mobile.

According to the report, this feature is now under development and will be available in a future update.

WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. Or, you can also save the photos or other content with auto-download on. However, the preview of the message might still be displayed in notifications until WhatsApp is opened.

It will switch on the disappearing messages option for the particular chat. The platform is gearing up to release more and more features for users globally.

The group has previously indicated that it will take steps to clamp down on fake news which is being circulated on its platform.

The most recent selection controls all messages in the chat.

It also set limits on how many times they can be sent at once to maintain the private nature of WhatsApp.
