On Twitter, he captioned the video: "psa if youre a s*** talking director make sure to mute ur s*** on zoom mtgings [sic]".

"I know, It's a shitty apartment", Gage says.

Right off the bat, it's worth pointing out that actor Lukas Gage has been in some pretty noteworthy stuff, for one, and two, that apartment looks quite nice. "I am so sorry".

"Listen, I'm living in a four-by-four box, it's fine, just give the job and we'll be fine", Gage responds jokingly.

Judd Apatow - director of The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), Knocked Up (2007) and Funny People (2009) - retweeted the clip with the caption: "As a young man I would have dreamed of an apartment like this one. The guitar! The moldings!"

"You handled that so well Lukas", wrote Molly Shannon, who stars with Lukas in the upcoming HBO limited series The White Lotus. What a lousy thing of him to say. However, we do hope both actors' stories serve as a wakeup call within the industry: you WILL get put on blast one way or another for crappy behavior!

The video is equal parts awkward and, well, humorous. the director thinks he's on mute as he starts picking apart Lukas' surroundings.

In the comments on his Instagram video, we learned that Lukas did NOT get the part, but that he did land a role in a new project with Molly Shannon that is now filming in Hawaii!

If there's one thing celebs can bond over, it's a mutual dislike of badly behaved directors.

"Classy response Lukas", Mad Men alum January Jones commented on the video, which was posted on Instagram and Twitter on Friday, Nov. 20. "What an entitled a**hole, dm me who it was so I can make note not to ever work with that person".

"Like I'm looking at his TV and and-" the voice continues, before Gage breaks the ice.

A slew of celebrities left comments on Lukas' Instagram.

"Yeah mute it", Dakota Fanning quipped. Wilmer Valderrama said, "You're a class act". And Oliver Hudson, the brother of Kate Hudson added, "This is incredible man.!"

Actor Zelda Williams - daughter of the late Robin Williams - also urged directors to hire him. But not to read a scene. Just to come into his office in a bikini and do a twirl. "My reps said he wanted to know if I was 'fat right now'".
