There are now 10 Raiders defenders on the reserve/COVID-19 list, including linebacker Cory Littleton, defensive end Clelin Ferrell, and defensive backs Johnathan Abram and Lamarcus Joyner.

Raiders defensive end Clelin Ferrell tested positive, and presumably numerous Raiders' defensive starters have been in close contact with Ferrell. The Raiders put Ferrell on the list after a positive test.

Nearly all of the Raiders' starters have to go on the COVID-19 reserve list because of high-risk close contacts, NFL Network is reporting. "... It's what you have to do".

"I don't know how we can beat these guys with a full lineup at practice, let alone three-fourths of your lineup not here all week", Guenther told reporters Thursday ahead of Sunday's game, according to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN. We had to go through some things before.

As close contacts, the seven players could be eligible to return and play the Chiefs, who are coming off their bye week, as long as they continue to test negative for the coronavirus this week.

Most of that group of players didn't practice all week - Joyner returned Friday and was removed from the COVID-19 list - but they've been able to stay involved through Zoom meetings and watching practice film in addition to working out at home.
