Upon discovering that the young girl isn't so young anymore (she's now a 40-year-old Isla Fisher), Eleanor does her best at making her find her magic once again.

As we wait (and wait and wait.) for the sequel to 2007's Enchanted starring Amy Adams, Disney has unveiled the official trailer for Godmothered.

Disney+ has released the official trailer for their newest holiday fantasy comedy film titled Godmothered, featuring Jillian Bell as she tries to be the flawless fairy godmother to Isla Fisher's character Mackenzie. However, it's instead taken a rather different form, taking place at Christmastime, and combining magic and the real world to ensure unmissable festive feels. Jillian Bell is pitch ideal casting for a role like this, bringing the right amount of whimsy and comedy. Plus, it's nice to see Isla Fisher finally working her charms in what appears to be an actually good movie.

In a magical world known as The Motherland, a young fairy godmother-in-training named Eleanor (Jillian Bell) discovers that her profession as fairy godmother is in danger of ending. Turns out, Eleanor is a few years too late, because Mackenzie is now a jaded adult who gave up on the idea of "Happily Ever After" a long time ago.

Godmothered will release on December 4 on Disney+ Hotstar Premium.
