Leo Cullen's Leinster will face Northampton Saints and Montpellier.

Gloucester Rugby will take on Ulster Rugby and Lyon in the 2020-21 Heineken Champions Cup.

Northampton Saints and Harlequins face two of the more hard draws, with Northampton set to play Bordeaux, who were in first place in the Top 14 last season before the campaign was cancelled due to Covid-19, as well as four-time European Cup winners Leinster.

One of the teams they will play in Pool A are newly-crowned European champions Exeter Chiefs, who downed the French club 28-18 in a thrilling semi-final at Sandy Park last month.

The last time Harlequins were drawn in the pool stages with Paris-based side Racing 92 came in the 2013/14 Champions Cup season, with Quins finishing second in Pool 4 having claimed victories in both fixtures against Racing.

The exact dates of the Heineken Champions Cup pool stage fixtures and the Challenge Cup preliminary stage fixtures, including venues, kick-off times and TV coverage, will be announced as soon as possible following consultation with clubs and EPCR's partner broadcasters.

All four provinces face home and away games against each of their opponents, with the first round of matches coming in mid-December.

Leinster are in Pool A, while Munster, Ulster, and Connacht are all in Pool B.

In the Champions Cup quarter-finals, the top team in Pool A will play the fourth-placed team in Pool B and vice versa.
