Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege has announced Sugar Fright, a new (and bizarre) Halloween event that kicks off tomorrow. This year, though, Ubisoft seems to be focusing on the "treat" part of trick or treat.

Taking place in a candy coma-fueled nightmare of puppets and sweets, Sugar Fright brings an entirely new PvP mode to the game. The scene shows Frost falling asleep, then talks about the effects of eating that odd candy. Here, four operators battle it out in new a Deathmatch-style mode, "Candy War" which includes re-spawn abilities (a first for the notoriously punishing shooter), and the caramel-coated goal of gathering as much candy as possible before the time limit expires. But for the first time Siege of the rainbow river History, players can respond after death.

The Sugar Fright event will end on November 10, so be sure to satisfy that sweet tooth while you can.

The Sugar Fright event comes with its own Collection with 30 unique items, featuring exclusive customization for Zofia, Capitao, IQ, Nomad, Thermite, Castle, Ela, Frost, Goyo and Pulse.

These skins will activate automatically during the sugar fear event, but players can open them permanently with special sugar fear packs or operator bundles.

Otherwise it would be a big change for the straight military sniper. And it's nice to see Ubisoft take a smarter approach with one of its more serious perks.
