IFC Films’ Stardust Trailer Starring Johnny Flynn as Icon David Bowie

"Meet David before Bowie". The drama, which IFC Films will release next month around Thanksgiving, follows a 24-year-old David Bowie in 1971 on his first road trip to America as he births his iconic alter ego, Ziggy Stardust.

With that in mind, the first trailer for Stardust, the upcoming biopic of David Bowie, has landed and people are not holding back on their reactions.

Bowie died on January 10, 2016, and has gone down as one of the world's most influential artists and pop culture icons. However who was the younger man behind the numerous faces? "Stardust" presents a glimpse backstage of the moments that impressed the creation of Bowie's first and most memorable alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, capturing the turning level that cemented his profession as one of many world's biggest cultural icons". "It's a swish, successful efficiency at its finest when Flynn is allowed to go actually wild". The director is Gabriel Range (The Death of George W. Bush), who also signs the script alongside newcomer Christopher Bell. Leaving behind his pregnant wife Angie (Jena Malone), Bowie and his band embark on a makeshift coast-to-coast promotional tour with struggling Mercury Records publicist Rob Oberman (Marc Maron). "Stardust" was originally supposed to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2020, but the fest was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
