The memory of Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has always been one of his biggest assets on the court, but teammate Danny Green says that it extends into everyday life.

The Lakers closed out their NBA Finals series with the Miami Heat on October 11 at Walt Disney World in Florida, which marked their 17th championship. The league is proposing a 72-game year, finishing before the postponed 2020 Olympic Games are scheduled to begin on July 23, 2021, in Tokyo, Japan.

The NBA has reportedly informed the Board of Governors that a December 22 start could lead to more than $500 million in additional revenue. It was a struggle for Green from start to finish, but all that matters is that the Lakers took care of business and won the championship behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Green appeared on The Ringer NBA Show and offered a fascinating anecdote about James' power to recall. "If I had to guess, because we have a lot of vets on our team, it's not like we have a lot of young guys or rookies.to have that quick of a restart, I wouldn't expect to see [LeBron] there".

Going back to early this month, Los Angeles County has seen its average number of new daily confirmed cases of Covid-19 rise from 900 to 1,200. He'll probably be working out with us, probably do some playing, but I just don't expect guys to want to be there, or show up willingly. It's, 'All right, let me start getting into shape, lifting a little bit, start running around a little bit.

"So I try to spend a lot of time thinking about the parts of this championship that make it unique", said Pelinka in his appearance on The Woj Pod (h/t to Silver Screen & Roll). Some guys have been out the bubble for a while. James will turn 36 just eight days later, an age that most other players have retired or are contemplating retiring from the game. "It's tough when you have different voices, and the majority is against us probably".

One memory that James will have during the course of next season is that the Lakers are the defending National Basketball Association champions.
