DaBaby Reacts to Losing All 12 Nominations at BET Hip Hop Awards

The BET Hip Hop Awards 2020 opened with a freestyle by Cordae encouraging viewers to vote.

Rapper Khaligraph Jones on Tuesday fell short of bagging the coveted BET Award after losing out to British rapper, singer and songwriter Stormzy in the Best International Flow Hip Hop category.

Before presenting the first award, T.I. joined co-hosts Karlous Miller, DC Young Fly and Chico Bean, of comedy supergroup 85 South, and encouraged viewers to make preparations before heading to the polls. "Bring a snack, a mask and a battery charger to keep your phone charged".

Hip Hop Album of the Year: DaBaby, "Blame it on Baby" and "Kirk;" Future, "High Off Life;" Lil Baby, "My Turn;" Megan Thee Stallion, "Suga" and Roddy Ricch, "Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial". At the end of the day, awards or not, he remains one of the hottest artists of the year, having taken over the industry and keeping audiences on standby with his tremendous output levels.

Megan Thee Stallion was the big victor at Tuesday's ceremony with three wins including Hustler of the Year, Hip Hop Artist of the Year, and Best Collaboration for her "Savage (Remix)" with Beyoncé.

The BET Awards show went down on Tuesday, October 27, with some of the performers including 2 Chains, Big Sean and Nigeria's star Burna Boy.
