Respawn Entertainment announced the official Season 7 launch trailer today. There's even more of Apex Legends' new character Horizon, a Scottish astrophysicist with an interesting accent. Perhaps the rocket on World's Edge will ascend to Olympus, a lush city floating in the clouds, where the Syndicate has found a new arena to run the Apex Games. The game was launched on February 4, 2019.

More information about the upcoming season will arrive in the coming days with a gameplay cinematic and a battle pass trailer, following tomorrow's launch trailer.

The season is known as Ascension and will add a new map, legend, vehicle and more. Past weeks have seen anti-gravity beacons placed near towers, accessible after completing Horizon's tasks in the current season.

You can see a shot of the entire Apex Legends Olympus map in the latest trailer as Mirage takes a peek out of the dropship cockpit when they fly over.

The start date for Apex Legends Season 7 is November 4th, 2020.

So that it will be possible for the players to play Apex Legends in whichever way they feel comfortable whether it is a gaming console or PC.

The preview site of Ascension has something surprising for us. While the Kings Canyon and World's Edge maps come with mayhem and Mad Max vibes, Olympus is much cleaner. "Plenty of room for the whole squad!"

A new Ranked Season has been introduced and these will all be available on the Steam version as well.

In addition to the Olympus map where one miscalculated step will result in death rather than shattered knees, Apex Legends Season 7 will also introduce Clubs where players will be able to build communities with like-minded players.
