Nissan Magnite colour options revealed ahead of launch

Nissan recently revealed the Magnite sub-4m SUV, which upon launch in January next year will mark the Japanese carmaker's entry into one of the busiest segments in the country that also houses cars like Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport as well as the Toyota Urban Cruiser. Alos, when you turn the ignition of the Nissan Magnite on, the TFT digital instrument cluster welcomes you with a unique animation.

The Nissan Magnite will only be made available with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The 1.0 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine generates 72 Bhp of power and 96 Nm of torque.

Under the hood of the Nissan Magnite will be a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired to a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT unit. The vehicle houses LED headlamps, LED fog lights, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, L-shaped LED DRLs, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a fully-digital instrument cluster, Nissan Connect, cruise control, and AC vents for the second row.

Nissan is offering a host of colour option with the Magnite, which will appeal to buyers in the segment. This includes 5 monotone and 3 dual-tone schemes. Nissan people have cameras below, with 360-degree views.

On the sides, it is flanked by squared-off wheel arches, roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, indicator-mounted ORVMs, and 16-inch alloy wheels. You can toggle between rear view, bird's eye view, and right-hand camera which comes in very handy for making parallel and perpendicular parking easier. Its ground clearance is 205 mm. The rear look of the Nissan Magnite is also tremendous.

The company has also packed the Magnite with a host of safety features including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), SRS dual airbag system with pretension & load limiter seatbelt for driver and passenger. The company claims that Magnite will give a mileage of 20 kilometers per liter, which is better than other SUVs in this range.
