Some iPhone 12 cases are shipping without speaker holes

According to a TENAA listing for the new iPhone 12 Pro Max, it seems the Cupertino giant has actually reduced the size of the battery inside the phone as compared to the iPhone 11 Pro Max from a year ago.

In his hands-on of the iPhone 12, XDA's Ben Sin reported that the charger magnetically connects to his Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy S20 FE.

The iPhone 12 Pro did a little better - 9:06 hours over 5G and 11:24 hours over LTE - again around 20% better. Qualcomm in February 2020 introduced the X60 modem, which is built on a 5-nanometer process, making it more power-efficient than the 7-nanometer X55. Without them, the sound from the device will be muffled.

"Compared to the Android competition, Apple's new phones are a step behind those devices on our best phone battery life list, especially over 5G networks".

This is according to tests performed by review site Tom's Guide, which compared the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro's battery performance while using 5G and 4G mobile networks.
