Industry-first technology mechanically switches the batteries from parallel to series mode during charging, which makes HUMMER EV compatible with the fastest 350 kW DC fast chargers, enabling almost 100 miles of range in 10 minutes of charging6.

Edition 1 highlights include 0-60 miles per hour acceleration in three seconds, drive mode control, an Infinity Roof and removable transparent Sky Panels, and a large infotainment screen-powered by Epic Games' Unreal Engine.

The GMC HUMMER EV is created to be the ultimate off-road EV supertruck, with all-new features developed to challenge tough obstacles and terrain.

Other unique goodies are available on the Edition 1, which as an "Infinity Roof" with modular, transparent sky panels, unique badging in the interior, and a white exterior. The cheapest of the line comes with an estimated mile range upward of 250, while the other two are estimated at above 300. While the vehicle is not listed with the Edition 1's "Watts to Freedom" driving mode, it is still an impressive truck with 800 horsepower and 9,500 lb-ft of torque.

The pickup offers an adaptive air suspension and what GM calls a "crab mode" that allows it to be driven nearly diagonally.

The Hummer EV2X is expected to be available on Spring 2023. It does, however, not have torque vectoring features.

The base Hummer EV starts at $79,995.
